Ryder - Cheshire Homes established 1959.
We are a health and welfare "not for profit" charitable trust supporting disabled children and adults in the Ryder-Cheshire Homes. We are all unpaid volunteers and all donations go to the intended recipients and programs.
We are dedicated to the "relief of suffering" a goal of Sue Ryder and Leonard Cheshire, two extraordinary individuals who founded institutions for this purpose worldwide. It all began in England after WWII, and later spread into many other countries.
Today these homes are located in Palmerston North, Hamilton, Australia, England, India and East Timor.
